Dr. Pradip Morbia is a highly experienced and accomplished interventional cardiologist. He moved away from the bustle of Los Angeles to practice out of Port Arthur, providing his patients with the best care available. Prior to his busy practice in Los Angeles, he was trained in cardiovascular medicine at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. He completed three years of internal medicine residency and three years of the cardiovascular medicine fellowship training program.
Dr. Morbia is in the twenty-sixth year of his practice as an interventional cardiologist and has handled more than 25,000 cardiovascular cases to date. His extensive experience and his expansion into multiple practices makes him an accomplished and recognized leader in the field of interventional cardiology. He was brought in to start the open-heart surgery program at Park Place Medical Center which is now the medical center of Southeast Texas. His practice extends to Christus St. Mary’s Hospital also. Under his leadership, Gulf Coast Cardiology Group, P.L.L.C. has served more than 50,000 patients in the Mid and South Jefferson County area. Dr. Morbia is triple board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Internal Medicine and is a fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is the senior-most interventional cardiologist living and practicing in the Mid and South-Jefferson County area.
